FAQ and Limitations
Practical usage guidance and the current constraints enforced by the build assistant backend.
What should I include in a request?
Include the format, the role you want, important teammates, and the threats or matchups you care about. Concrete requests give the assistant better constraints.
Can it revise an existing build?
Yes. Revision requests are routed separately, and the backend instructs the model to preserve the parts of the current build that you did not ask to change.
Can it explain a build without generating a new one?
Yes. The assistant can explain the latest saved build, give matchup advice, and answer general chat questions without returning a new structured set.
Are you affiliated with Nintendo or Game Freak?
No. This site is an unofficial fan-made tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Nintendo, The Pokemon Company, Creatures, or Game Freak. Pokemon and related names are trademarks of their respective owners.
- It builds one Pokémon set at a time, not a full six-Pokémon roster.
- Generated builds must include exactly four moves and exactly 66 total stat points, with each stat value between 0 and 32.
- Held items are restricted to the regulation item list defined in the backend.
- If the model cannot produce a valid structured response after three attempts, the app returns a fallback error instead of a broken build.
- Follow-up answers depend on the latest saved build and recent session context, so unclear prompts can still lead to unclear guidance.
